A global public health effort by leading health organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), The World Health Organization (WHO), and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the goal of World Immunization Week is for more people – and their communities – to be protected from vaccine-preventable diseases.
